Cartosat- India's eye from space

The Cartosat series comprises Indian Earth observation satellites constructed and operated by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

The satellite's visual data is valuable for a range of purposes, including creating detailed maps, planning for urban and rural development, managing coastal areas, and overseeing utility infrastructure such as roads and water systems. This information can also be used to track changes in land use and support various geospatial data systems and applications.

Launched in 2019, Cartosat-3 is the most recent member of the series. This advanced satellite, known for its agility and third-generation technology, excels in capturing high-resolution images. It offers Panchromatic imagery with a remarkable resolution of 0.28 m, as well as Multispectral imagery in four spectral bands, achieving a spatial resolution of 1.12 m over a nominal swath of around 17 Km. With its impressive capabilities, the satellite can navigate up to +45 ° and +26 ° along and across the track, respectively.

Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, drew a connection between the laying of the foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the tenure of Rajiv Gandhi as India's Head of state.

Pawar specified at a public celebration in Nipani, Karnataka that although the shilanyas (ceremony of laying the first stone) happened throughout Rajiv Gandhi's time, the BJP and RSS are currently participating in political activities under the semblance of Lord Ram.

Pawar shared that while he respects Narendra Modi's commitment to Lord Ram, he believes that if the Head of state had picked to quickly for the purpose of eliminating poverty, it would have been more widely appreciated.

It was Rajiv Gandhi's federal government that chose to open up the locks of the Babri Mosque in 1985, a relocation seen by many as the Congress's attempts to stabilize common formulas after the ruling government at that time had actually overthrown Shah Bano judgment of the Supreme Court.

On November 9, 1989, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders were enabled to lay the foundation stone of the Ram holy place in the UP town. According to an HT record, after that Union home minister Buta Singh and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Narain Dutt Tiwari had actually held closed door conferences with the VHP leader prior to the Rajiv Gandhi government provided its nod for the event.

The relocation did not profit the Congress, as the VHP boosted efforts to create the Ram holy place. Lal Krishna Advani and the BJP began a Rath Yatra from Somnath, Gujarat, to Ayodhya on September 25, 1990, yet Advani's project was halted due to his arrest in Bihar, gotten by Lalu Prasad's federal government. In spite of this, the Ram Janmabhoomi activity was useful for the BJP, as its Lok Sabha seat matter increased from 2 in 1984 to 85 in 1989 and after that to 120 in 1991.

In 2019, the High court paved the way for the building and construction of the Ram holy place on 2.77 acres of land in Ayodhya where the Babri mosque stood till 6 December 1992. The 'bhumi pujan' of the newly created temple was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020.

Modi, who had gone along with Advani during the BJP stalwart's Rath Yatra in 1990, will command the blessing ceremony of the temple on January 22.
